Because weather conditions are unpredictable, the pedestrian bridges of EventBridge have been designed to withstand wind speeds up to 12 Beaufort. If tarpaulin has been used to cover the bridge, it is still resistant to wind speeds up to 9 Beaufort.
Because our stairs are formed from a single part they do not move. The steps are also firmly mounted in the staircase and do not move, meaning users feel like they are walking on a permanent stairway/bridge. This increases the sense of safety.
The EventBridge concept was co-developed by the leading engineering company Movares. As a result, we are confident in offering tens of thousands of people the use of our pedestrian bridge every day. In addition, our temporary pedestrian bridges are manufactured to the highest European standards (NEN-EN 1090) by VDL. The development and production stages are monitored by TÜV Nord.
The temporary pedestrian bridges of EventBridge have handrails only 1 meter apart. Should a visitor at your event lose their balance on the stairs, they can reach either side quickly and easily.
High side panels (2.5m) have been fitted with mesh (mesh size: 4x4), which prevents objects being thrown easily from the bridge. The top of the pedestrian bridge has the option to be covered with fine fire retardant net.
